Honolulu DJ MetaLX is reaching local and global audiences with his uniquely charged mix sets. Former mastermind of the [ontologic] drum n bass show on KTUH, MetaLX approaches music with intellect and passion.
“During the course of [ontologic] I slowly started to integrate more and more sound bytes into the show – those were the lyrics to the tunes and mixes I was playing. For me it was like creating a sonic storyboard,” he explains.
“Another facet of the show was my mission to push drum and bass in Hawai‘i. It’s something that I continue to work on to this day.”
